The recent Market Research & Insights in Action gathering in New York, hosted by The Connecting Group, was by far one of the most interesting conferences I have ever attended. This is the first time the Barcelona-based organization held this conference in the US, but I certainly hope it is not the last time they cross the pond. The speakers from premier brands like Coca-Cola, Intel and The Kellogg Company were varied and quite fascinating, with hot topics that included virtual shopping, neuroscience-based research, new product innovation, and social media analysis using artificial intelligence.
